Our Process
We follow a clear, structured process designed to make your wheelchair assessment and fitting experience smooth, supportive, and clinically sound. From your initial enquiry, we take the time to understand your individual needs, lifestyle, and goals. Your Occupational Therapist will carry out a detailed assessment - considering your posture, comfort, and mobility requirements, as well as how your wheelchair will fit within your home and daily life.
Following the assessment, we guide you through equipment options, arrange any trials if needed, and ensure the final setup is right for you. Once your wheelchair has been supplied, we complete a thorough handover and make sure you’re confident and comfortable with your new equipment.
Our process ensures continuity, clear communication, and professional support at every stage - from assessment to handover - so you can be confident you’re getting the right wheelchair, the right fit, the first time.
Initial Contact – Assessment referral form and discussion of your needs.
Assessment – Clinical wheelchair assessment carried out in your home.
Equipment Trials – Trial of a suitable wheelchair and any recommended accessories.
Prescription & Quote – Personalised prescription and clear quotation for your equipment.
Handover – Delivery, set-up, explanation of features, and follow-up support.
